Families! Families! Families!

We had a great week at Pre-K!  Our families theme was so much fun.  We drew pictures of our family, sang songs about different family members, bathed baby dolls and washed dishes in the water table, created shape houses, and discussed items we see at home.  Our book for large group literacy was Goldilocks and the Three Bears.  On Monday, we took a picture walk through the book.  On Tuesday, we discussed the star character- Goldilocks.  On Wednesday, we watched a story retell on the Smart Board.  On Thursday, we tasted porridge and created a taste-test graph.  Tomorrow we will retell the story using masks and props.  Next week, we will begin our Fall themes.  Apple and pumpkin donations would be greatly appreciated!
