Winter is Here!

We are having a great time learning about winter in Pre-K.  We have participated in several science experiments to explore ice and snow. 

One of our friends brought Insta-Snow to school.  It felt just like real snow!

We experimented with ice and salt.  We tried to pick up an ice cube with a string and it would not work.  Next, we sprinkled salt on top of the ice cube and tried to pick it up with the string.  It worked!

We discussed how scientists can discover dinosaur bones in dirt and ice.  Next, we used different techniques to get dinosaurs out of ice cubes.
