Bears! Bears! Bears!

Our unit of study on bears/ hibernation was so much fun!  Here are some the of the activities we completed:

-We read the story We're Going on a Bear Hunt and reenacted it.

-We sorted plastic bears by color and created patterns.

-We played teddy bear waterslide.  We rolled a pair of dice and sent that many plastic bears down the waterslide (a paper towel roll cut in half) into a bowl of water.

-We created bear caves with paper bags and placed a bear inside.  Shhhhh.... they will be sleeping until spring!

-We used shaving cream and glue to create "fluffy" polar bears.

-We created shapes using Teddy Grahams.
