The Luck of the Irish!

St. Patrick's Day at Pre-K is so much fun!  We watched a documentary on Ireland, learned how to River Dance, planted shamrocks, and participated in the annual Pre-K St. Patrick's Day parade. 

We watched Lord of the Dance on the SmartBoard and learned how to River Dance. 

 

We created shamrocks with peppers.

 

We mixed blue and yellow paint to make green.  We completed precision paintings using Q-Tips.

 

We marched in the annual Pre-K St. Patrick's Day Parade.

 

We built a leprechaun trap and used a pot of gold for bait.  He visited our classroom while we were on the playground and left us the recipe for his favorite snack- shamrock shakes!
